The ShowerDrain C series is characterised by modern design and perfect functionalality. The basic is the high quality stainless steel which is used for the production of the shower channel itself, gully and grating.

The foul air trap is made out of polypropylene. The steel parts are pasivated; the gratings are brushed to the silk gloss.

From the user´s point of view the ACO ShowerDrain C excelled especially by the high flow rate, very low construction height and very easy maintenance.

Floor Drains

ACO bath drains are used in areas where there is a demand for functional long-life solutions with high flow volumes combined with attractive designs. There is a choice of round and square designer grids made from high-quality electro-polished stainless steel with lockable or loosely inserted versions. Lockable grids can be used in public areas such as health spas or high-class swimming pools.

Top sections with your choice of finish, can be tiled Top sections to insert glass, tile or similar surfaces are also available. ACO offers a selection of top sections with elegant designs in glass. The top section can be tiled and is covered on-site with your floor-covering, e.g. the tiles you are using throughout the bath area. This means that the whole floor area has a uniform look. The depth available for the tiles, including adhesive, is 11.5 mm.

With both types of top section the water runs away through the surrounding slots around the top section. Another available option is the variant for thin bed sealing.

Special Products

Your exclusive entry to your fabulous wetroom. Stainless steel tray with electro-polished surface and choice of two designs of wooden gratings - roll-up grating in wood teak and bar grating in wood lapacho.

Heavily used surfaces in the bathroom require an increased amount of care and maintenance not least due to spray and drops of water. The Walk-in solution combines high standards of hygiene with a comfortable surface of oiled wood.

The floor-level ACO ShowerDrain Walk-in drainage solution consists of two components: a drainage tray made from high- quality stainless steel with electro polished surface, and a grating which is as beautiful as it is sturdy, made from waterproof, oiled hardwood.

This can be built into the bathroom for example in the floor space in front of the washbasin or in front of the shower and bath areas. The underside is made from PUR foam, making it easy to build into the floor structure. The tray for installation in front of the washbasin does not need to be connected to the pipe system. The surrounding connecting rim enables a quick and secure thin bed sealing. When installed in front of the shower area or a bathtub the drip tray can also be drained using a gully, if wished.

Facade Drainage

ACO facade and terrace channels provide perfect solutions for every situation. It is very important that moisture should never be able to get into a building from outside around those tricky areas in front of doors and facades. ACO products guarantee this protection as well as boasting the following benefits:

Safe and fast drainage of even large quantities of rain

Additional backflow reserve for periods of sudden very heavy rainfall

Preventing the formation of puddles around facades

Protecting indoor areas from penetrating moisture

Preventing water from splashing up during very heavy rainfall

Use as a walk-on grating for maintenance and cleaning work

ACO facade and terrace channels comply with all the relevant regulations. They cannot be forced up under the pressure of wind, and they avoid the pooling of water in particularly problematic areas. Another problem that has to be tackled in this context is the presence of snow drifts, slush and ice: increased heat radiation makes snow and ice thaw faster around doors. The unthawed snow or slush around the puddle of melt water can prevent the water from flowing away properly. Drainage channels must therefore be capable of coping with such conditions. The height of the channel must match the actual volumes of water expected. Hydraulic verification of this kind can be prepared at any time by ACO Applications Technology.

ACO slot and box channel stainless steel systems are used in applications anywhere where hygienic, corrosion resistance and durable performance are essential.

ACO Slot and Box linear drainage systems are the ideal solution to drain large areas. It is possible to set complicated shapes of linear drainage, thanks to good variability of system. The system consists of two types of channel profiles for different applications.

Slot channel is ideal as a discreet breakwater betwen designated wet and dry areas. The width of aperture is 20mm and the grate is placed only on the gully part.

Another solution is box channel. The system offers the choice of two widths - 125 mm and 200 mm but still to manage much bigger inflow of water. Grates are placed in whole length of the channel system.

Customer can create the whole look of floor by choosing the right design grating. Anti-slip version grating is available, to ensure the floor safety

Cellar Drainage

Backflow Preventers

Wastewater can backflow into buildings whenever wastewater can no longer drain off optimally into the public sewers. The dimensioning of drainage installations today takes into consideration economic aspects and selfcleaning effects based on average rainfall events. However, heavy rainfall which exceeds the reference rainfall level can also occur. This means that the drainage installations can be overloaded at any time.

In addition to periods of heavy rainfall, wastewater can also be prevented from draining off as quickly as required by unwanted reductions in pipe cross sections caused by deposits or blockages in sewer pipes, not to mention cracked pipes, pump failures in public sewers, and floods – all can lead to sewage backflowing into a building.
